Summary: While out begging at the tender age of ten, Momo(Steamed Bun) was snatched by child traffickers and hidden away on a storage vessel. But luckily, he met up with Qiao Baiqi, who had arrived to apprehend those smugglers. The two formed a bond instantly. Qiao Baiqi then brought Momo back to his private manor and bestowed the young one with the new name “Qiao Ying” (the Ying means shadow). Thus, Momo—as Qiao Ying—began his new life as Qiao Baiqi’s adopted younger brother. But sometime later, Qiao Ying will be dragged into a spiraling war with the Prince of Yan…
